讲座简介:While somemight argue that the interaction inherent in computer games constitutes a formof biofeedback, this presentation looks at forms of biofeedback that go beyondthe interaction required to play the game. In particular, I look at what ispossible in the realm of sound when biofeedback loops using technology such asEEG are implemented. The presentation begins by taking a brief look at thehistory of sound in computer games, assessing its role and function, beforetaking a speculative look at what the future might hold were biofeedback tobecome a widespread consumer reality.
